The Access Barrier Removal (ABR) Program for the State of California, Department of General Services has a budget of $80M for State office buildings. The projects are for accessibility improvements and associated infrastructure repair of multiple state buildings in the Sacramento, Bay Area, and Los Angeles regions. Work for the projects is carried out in occupied buildings in multiple phases, including significant off-hour work.

6D, in a joint venture, has completed services for Secretary of State Office Building (Sacramento), East End, Buildings 51, 52, 53, & 54 (Sacramento), Elihu Harris State Office Building (Oakland), Ronald M. George State Office Complex (San Francisco), Junipero Serra State Office Building 512 (Los Angeles), Ronald Reagan State Building (Los Angeles), Van Nuys State Office Building (Van Nuys), and Mission Valley State Office Building (San Diego). Other projects are completing design and beginning the procurement process.

The joint venture was awarded this Design-Bid-Build program for construction project management services.
