SACRAMENTO, CA
6D is providing project and construction management services for the renovation of 1100 K Street, the headquarters of the California State Association of Counties (CSAC), a nonprofit mutual benefit corporation formed by all 58 counties of California. Located just one block from the State Capitol in Sacramento’s historic Cathedral District, this 1912-era building is being modernized to meet current seismic, accessibility, and building code requirements while preserving its historic character. The scope includes upgrades to structural systems, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, vertical circulation, and life safety systems. 6D is managing the project through both the design and construction phases, guiding the coordination of technical teams, historic preservation compliance, and agency reviews. Estimated for completion in 2027, the project will transform CSAC’s headquarters into a safe, efficient, and future-ready facility that supports its mission of serving California’s 58 counties.
