The healthcare system of CDCR is under the oversight of a Federal Receiver to monitor CDCR’s provision of proper healthcare access for inmates. This multi-billion-dollar capital improvement program includes construction of new clinics and exam spaces, medication distribution spaces, and renovation of existing healthcare spaces throughout each of California’s 35 prisons.
6D was retained by the Federal Receiver to provide continuous program management review of the Health Care Facility Improvement Program. 6D’s scope includes assessment of program and project operations, development of recommendations to improve program and project operations, as well as ongoing monitoring and reporting.
